Step one should be to make sure your server is started and online Locate the IP Address or Hostname of Your Server Near the top of your Instance page on your Nodecraft Control Panel, you can find the Hostname of your server. We were debating if we should play on Battle.Net or offline. Alternatively, you can use the numerical IP address located at the bottom of the Overview page on your Nodepanel. We wanted the ladder only events if we should ever be able to get to that level, but we can't guarantee that we'd play every 90 days to keep our accounts active. Then there is also the ladder resets which limits our progress online. So I found out about PlugY, seems great and stuff. The problem occours when we wanted to play it on a virtual LAN, through Evolve. When we try to connect to eachother we get "Cannot connect to server". We can however play D2LoD without anything added, but only I can host games, I get the same error if I try connecting to him. I also tried installing the game and PlugY on my laptop, and TCP/IP works perfectly with that and my desktop. I then tried installing Evolve and making a second account on my laptop, but then the PlugY version doesn't work, but the normal game works where both computers at my house hosts and connects. We have also tried using Hamachi but that didn't even let us connect with plain LoD. I installed Tunngle but noped out of that quite quickly because it doesn't look too serious.ĭoes anyone have any idea what could be happening? There isn't much info to acquire around the internet with this issue at all. Not the Evolve forums, the PlugY forums seems to be taken offline and didn't find much searching Reddit.
